Chaya Sara Shelton
Chaya Sara earned her MA in Early Childhood General and Special Education from Bank Street College of Education. She has taught in a number of Infant/Toddler classrooms and as a Caregiver and Me Teacher at a number of prestigious schools including The Bank Street Family Center Preschool. Chaya Sara also worked individually with children who have special needs as a SEIT and Early Intervention Specialist. Chaya Sara joined the Yavneh Family as a Pre-K teacher in 2019 before transitioning to her new role as the Early Childhood Director. In addition to classroom teaching, Chaya Sara has created an early childhood Instagram blog (@themateriallife), which features creative exploration ideas for teachers and parents.
